the natural world
I chose Natural world for my personal project because there are possibilities of me exploring the Natural world and making good photos for my website. I am interested in doing the Natural world because i want to take pictures to do with Nature and how you take the picture specifically. It would be interesting to find and experiment all aspects of nature.
This is my personal project, I will take pictures in Natural places and make sure it looks very natural. I am going to use Formal elements from my abstraction page as well to help with my pictures.
This is my natural world pinterst page where we find inspiration and find pages to put them together and create our own pages.

some photos from natural world photographers
I chose these series of pictures from photographers because it is to do with my work and has different textures that I am experimenting to see if it will make a good outcome.
my photos
I took these pictures because my theme is nature. I chose to take these pictures because it looked good and it is very clear and not blurry. There is no shadows and there is a formal element for example shade and light because the sun reflects onto the plants making them lighter and focus which is also a formal element because i decided to zoom in onto specific types of plants and took the rest out of focus so the viewer sees the type of plant first.
dafna talmor
These are some examples of her work.
These pictures have formal elements such as shade
On wednesday 19th October we had an artist visit us at school, her name is Dafna Talmor, she came in to our photography class to produce a workshop. When she arrived she helped us create different photographs taken from images that had already been taken. We done this by cutting up paper into different shapes or painting on the images to make it our own.She has influenced us to make our own work and to be more independent and try to make our work more abstract, instead of taking a picture and just uploading it on our websites, we would cut up pieces out of an images and place it somewhere else. Some of us used two images and cut pieces out of it to put them together. Her work is abstract for one of many reasons because she combines more than one image slightly distorting the image altogether. Some of her work gives off a type of mood/vibe which is caused by the atmosphere, for example if the image was bright and sunny the mood can change instantly to happy of if the image was of a storm with lightning you know the mood would change to moody, angry or depressed which is pathetic fallacy.
my photos in school
I took these images focusing on leaves and the natural space around us. I focused more on the natural things than the other things near it or around it. It is easier to take the pictures in daylight because you can see more things around you and what you are actually taking a picture of or you focus more on what you were looking for. I took these close up so you can see the true meaning of nature is. There are wide ranges of plants and leaves everywhere and these are just a few from school and they are all in focus and I was just showing you what it would look like to see nature in clear focus.

The natural world
In this photograph I can see a water a trickle of water on a clover leaf. The words I would use to describe this photograph is fascinating and pretty because the person who took the photo caught it at the right moment and the droplets is clear. I would describe this photograph to a person who couldn't see it as a picture with a flower and a water droplet in the middle of it and the petals have little droplets on it. The clover is close up but the clover is unfocused and the camera and the person who took it focused more on the water to make it look fascinating. This photograph reminds me of a rainforest when it starts raining and the trickles get stuck in the trees and the petals. This image is naturalistic. The formal elements that seem important in this photograph is colour and tone. The lines on the petals are faded but it stands out in the image. The shapes are forms are important because the water drop is oval but in some pictures it would be circular. The colours stand out because there are different colours outside the flower but the images mainly focuses on the colour green. The texture in this image is soft. The photographer captured the play of the light in this image by waiting until the right moment. The water drop was in focus and some of the clover was in focus but most of it was out of focus. The whole background of this image was out of focus. The image has been cropped, the flower has parts that are cropped out. The part that strikes me as most intreging is the water drop because it is in focus and look like it is about to bounce off of it.
mark hamblin
Mark is also a natural world photographer,he grew up in warwickshire. His work is interesting because of the focus. It makes you focus on the object or image more and make it stand out. The colours of the photo set a mood when you look at it which is pathetic fallacy. He started off his work by birdwatching and liking photography. His images are represented by a number of international photoraphic agencies including Getty images, Nature in stock and his work is used in magazines. Mark was a contributing photographer to wild wonders of Europe project working on stories. He also raises awareness about environmental issues through his images.

my pictures in school
This is my attempt on the natural world. I used mirrors to cover up the faces to switch it round and focus on one object. I could improve by changing composition and colour to make the picture more intriguing. I could also edit it to make it different, such as tone and focus. What went well was I resulted with what I aimed for. What I have learnt from photographers is that you can make photos more intriguing by taking the focus off the main subject and make the picture more about the Natural world and everything around it,to stand out more.I used mirrors instead of faces because I wanted a Naturalistic background.
These pictures i took are interesting because i focused my all my attention on trying to get it in focus. I also showed how the images have detail and texture. I find these images interseting because when I took them I mainly was focusing on the natural parts of the photo and I got the other areas that aern't that don't look good but it makes the image a bit more interesting.
Today I done an experiment by adding dye to my photogram. I made a photogram with a wide range of leaves and then I decided to dye it to make it look more contrast. I had this idea for my first final piece because it stands out and has a natural theme. I done this because it seemed like a good idea and it was abstract and also linked to the theme natural world.
